How Tenura builds your record

A draft first. A trusted record after review.

Detected information is not automatically treated as verified truth. Tenura is designed to keep the landlord in control of what becomes part of the portfolio.

01 · DetectIn development

Find likely property information

Tenura is designed to narrow email and documents by sender, subject, date, address, attachment type and property-related language.

02 · OrganiseIn development

Build draft property records

Likely documents, costs, contractors, tenancies and events are grouped around the property they may relate to.

03 · VerifyIn development

Decide what belongs

The landlord reviews sources, corrects or rejects suggestions, resolves possible duplicates and confirms important facts.

04 · MonitorPlanned

Keep the record useful

The product direction is to surface new activity, upcoming dates, unresolved issues and information gaps after the initial record is built.

Detected

Tenura found the information in an available email or document.

Inferred

Tenura suggested a connection or interpretation that needs review.

Verified

The landlord reviewed the supporting source and confirmed the record.

02 · Ask and search · Illustrative

The record is the product

Build it. Verify it. Keep it useful.

The initial reconstruction is the beginning. Tenura is being developed as the source-linked record landlords return to when a date, cost, document or decision matters.

Designed first for self-managing UK landlords

Typically 5–30 properties

Tenura is being shaped around landlords whose tenancy dates, certificates, insurance, mortgage correspondence, contractor invoices and maintenance history are spread across email, folders and spreadsheets.

Prepare a clean handover

Bring source-linked records together before an accountant review, refinance or sale.

See what needs attention

Review upcoming dates, unresolved maintenance and information gaps in one place.

Answer with context

Understand what happened at each property without losing the document behind the answer.

Ongoing monitoring is product direction.

Upcoming dates, new activity and periodic summaries are being shaped for early access; the launch scope is not yet final.

Planned

Built to assist, designed for review

What Tenura can — and cannot — know.

Tenura can only work from information made available to it. The product is designed to make uncertainty visible and give the landlord a route back to the source.

  • Deleted email, paper files and messages in unconnected accounts may not be available.
  • An attachment can be mislabelled, linked to the wrong property or contain an unclear date.
  • Sources show where an answer came from; they do not make every interpretation correct.

Real questions

Before connecting a mailbox

Does Tenura read my whole inbox?

No production mailbox integration is available through this website today. Tenura is being designed to filter for likely property relevance before analysing the information needed for a draft record. The exact Gmail and Microsoft scopes, filtering controls and retention approach will be published before early-access connections are enabled.

Can Tenura send, edit or delete emails?

The website demo cannot access any mailbox. Production connections are intended to be read-only and not request permission to send, edit or delete email. The final provider permission screens will be published before release so this can be checked directly.

Is every item Tenura finds automatically treated as correct?

No. Found information begins as detected or inferred. Important facts should be reviewed against their source before the landlord confirms them as part of the trusted record.

What if Tenura connects something to the wrong property?

Tenura is designed to suggest likely matches rather than silently merge uncertain records. The intended review controls include correcting the property, rejecting the suggestion and resolving possible duplicates.

Can I review the original email or document?

Source-linked records are central to the product design. The walkthrough shows the intended experience: open the supporting email or attachment, see the relevant excerpt and understand whether a value was stated directly or inferred.

Can I disconnect my inbox or delete imported information?

Disconnect and deletion controls are intended for early access, but their exact behaviour and retention timelines are not yet final. They will be documented before mailbox access is released.

Does Tenura guarantee that my portfolio is compliant?

No. Tenura can help organise available documents, dates and potential gaps. It does not provide legal, tax, financial or safety advice, and important records should be checked before action is taken.
